Yes, that’s a terrific read, like a lot of his work, other examples being Adventures of Luther Arkwright and Heart of Empire.
Think Al Davinson’S The Spiral Cage was also top notch..although in that case “graphic novel” might need to be replaced by “graphic autobiography”.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
One of my recent favorites was the Lone Ranger re-boot(should have been the basis of Disney's movie).

I knew it was published by Heavy Metal and when I typed up the list I wasn't sure if it had been serialized or previewed in the magazine first before being published in book form. I had the Titan reissue from a handful of years back rather than the HM original release. I since figured out it was not serialized first. However, some of the Eisner works I listed as OGN were serialized in Will Eisner Quarterly before being released in book format, so there are a few errors in the list in categorizing them as OGN or collections of stuff serialized first.

Guerrilas: Omnibus
I've recently read Luisa, published by Humanoids. 30 year old woman meets her 15 year old self, confronts her past decisions and sexuality. French stuff translated by Mariko Tamaki. Really liked it.
Also read Thanos wins and Cosmic Ghost rider: Baby Thanos must die. I don't really give a hoot about Thanos and never read anything with him before except Infinity but you don't need to either. Really good entry point and super fun.
Most of the suggestions aren’t even graphic novels, but runs from a comic spanning multiple issues.
My favorite graphic novel (a specific stand-alone story) would be The Killing Joke.
