Default Matthew Rosenberg on Secret Warriors and Secret Empire

The Five Points Festival just did a FANTASTIC interview with Matthew Rosenberg, the writer of Secret Warriors. For anyone who had doubts on Secret Empire or Secret Warriors, you really should read this.

I just got to the part where he talked to the main writers/creators for the characters that alone makes me happy since that is what I want Marvel writers to do with non-OCs

That was a great interview. I really hope these writers realize how quickly stuff gets cancelled these days. While I love long runs and Rosenberg, Ewing and Ahmed all seem to have great long term plans I hope they chunk it in ways that don't feel incomplete if they get cancelled after only 1-3 arcs.
Current Pull: Lazarus, The Realm, Seven to Eternity, Aquaman, Flash, Justice League Dark, Justice League Odyssey, Sideways, Black Panther, Captain America, Daredevil, Death of the Inhumans.

    Future Pull: Killmonger.

Good interview. He seems cool, and contrary to a lot of the modern Marvel writers he seems to want to push a good story before a personal agenda. I did'nt liked at all the new team in Secret Warriors but the first issue was very good. He seems to have a lot of potential I hope Marvel can keep him.

That really impressed me. It's rare for writers to give so much insight about stuff, while not actually spoiling. It's great that he actually talks to other writers and really worries about writing all these characters on a believable way.

I am THRILLED he put so much research into each character on the team. He clearly wants to get them "Right" and be consistent with what we've seen in each characters solo. I loved the first issue and I can't wait to see what he does with the second.

That he researched the characters that makes up this team and consulted with the members' writers gives this hope indeed. Hoping that the Secret Warriors miniseries will be good while it lasts.

I hope Marvel keeps Rosenburg, he said he had to skip out on 2 big projects because of personal issues but I hope he keeps getting work. He seems motivated and cares about these characters.

I first read this as "Willow Rosenberg on Secret Warriors and Secret Empire". I thought, "wow, Willow's joining the Secret Warriors?"
