To answer this: It's pretty much equal because in Space Storm uses cosmic Energy the power of Stars and the sun. She is constantly fed Energy mind body and spirit. In fact Storm created a cosmic storm to protect the earth once.

It's part of her story. She was just recently talking to hallucinations of the late Professor Charles Xavier. She's been very hot and cold about her leadership decisions through DoX/IvX. Not long before all of that, she used lightning to lobotomize Bishop to "fix" him without permission. Trying to use the defunct XSE badge is the latest cry for help.
