It's the movies. You don't have a Samuel L. Jackson character turn into a white Hitler type. That just does not happen. This is not possible.

No. The Knight of Ren was all trained by Luke Skywalker. Kylo Ren ( aka Ben Solo) was also trained by Luke.

The Last Jedi is referring to Snoke. He is the lasting living Jedi from the Jedi Order. Luke isn't from the Jedi Order.
