Starting to wish Jennifer and Khalil would go home already this storyline is starting to drag. This series really started out with a bang seems like it's going into soap opera mode the last few episodes. Tobias also needs some competition it's like he's way too powerful unbeatable,rich and long political power it's like he needs to be scaled down a peg or two.

I considered it. While the scenario with Tyler is totally possible by itself Tobias seemed to know about way too quickly. Also I've been wondering how things will play out for Khalil. Tobias isn't going to stop sending metas after him and he can't go home.

I don't mind the Khalil and Jennifer plot mainly because they feel like actual people. The plot is dragging but their relationship is miles above any ship on the Arrowverse.

The only good thing I can see of this storyline is that maybe Jennifer and Khali can run into more 'Outsiders' (people who can't fit into society because of their appearance or their powers), like Metamorpho or they encounter Prince Brion Markov (Geo-Force).

Their acting has been quite good, so that helps.

He can get back at him for crippling and basically enslaving him, Tobias would finally be dealt with, and none of the Pierces would have to break their no-killing code.

Jefferson doesn't have one. He's said repeatedly that Black Lightning exists to kill Tobias. Jeff would have a body count if Gambi wasn't around.
