Also given how trailers have to be redubbed and very rarely feature soundbytes from the actual film I wouldn't rash his Bronx accent just yet

I had my doubts too, but there were some reports that confirmed Hardy was also providing the Symbiote's voice.

When we gonna get a red and trailer? Saw a interview with Tom hardy talking about how he likes how the movies humor comes from Eddie reacting to the grphocnthings Venom does. Where he then says like biting heads off. Maybe this movie will have some balls I wanna see a real trailer
