I wouldn't trust those reviews. Beyond obvious they're fake.

Trying to decide on a favorite. So far its a tie between the one where the Venom Movie gave some lady's son a seizure but then she moved him to the Lady Gaga Movie and it revived him or the one saying Venom is a Democrat Conspiracy trying to promote lgbtq rights and see gaga's movie instead.

Just seen it, I think it’s actually pretty faithful to the character, including the fact that Venom is darkly humorous.

A lot of stuff happens to be very convenient though like spoilers:

Riot taking two thirds of the movie to get to San Francisco and big surprise, have a perfect host in the Life Foundation owner. Annie getting the Venom Symbiote for a few moments is a nice alude to the comics, as is sneaking John Jameson in there.
