Technically, it's a mini-series. Otherwise, I'd have considered recommending The Man Without Fear. The same is true for Elektra: Assassin. In fact, it doesn't really read like a graphic novel because it's often repetitive in order to recap what happened in previous issues.

Interested in reading Daredevil? Not sure what to read next? Why not check out the Daredevil Book Club for some ideas?

Wolverine and Havok Meltdown. Isn't that a one big story graphic novel ?

Gotcha. Wasn't sure if out of continuity miniseries counted. That reason makes sense.
Current Pull: Lazarus, The Realm, Seven to Eternity, Aquaman, Flash, Justice League Dark, Justice League Odyssey, Sideways, Black Panther, Captain America, Daredevil, Death of the Inhumans.

    Future Pull: Killmonger.

There are a few that I really love.

Marvel Graphic Novel #4 - The first appearance of a team that would go on to be one of my all time favorites.

Marvel Graphic Novel # 3 - If you have never read any Dreadstar you are missing out on some truly fantastic stuff.

Hercules: Full Circle - The conclusion to one of the great unsung trilogies in Marvel Comics history Bob Laytons Hercules: Prince of Power. Hercules in the future running around in space having the kind of adventures only he can have. Fun and epic at the same time.

I wish Marvel put out more of these stories. At this point the TPB has taken over- and while it's great that now story arcs can be collected more frequently, the aspect of an original OGN story is rare now. The Dr. Strange/Dr. Doom story by Mike Mignola is one that was cool.

Actually Dreadstar was an ongoing series by Marvel Comics's Epic Comics branch.

Dreadstar was one of the features stories in Epic Illustrated first with the "Metamorphosis Odyssey". After that came the Dreadstar Graphic Novel then came the ongoing series under the Epic banner. After that it had a long run over at First Comics and finally ended its run over at Malibu Comics.

Odd!?! I want to brag and say that I have MGN #1 - #75 -- but, I can't currently claim that I've read the series serially as I should have.

Figures my two answers would be X-Men and Inhumans.
I never see By Right of Birth mentioned anywhere. But I also enjoyed it very much.

    God Loves, Man Kills
    Marvels

would be my top favorites. Would Earth X count as self contained, had direct sequels but they weren't required reading.
Current Pull: Amazing Spider-Man and Domino

    Bunn for Deadpool's Main Book!

    Marvels
    God loves, Man kills
    Triumph & Torment

Could the original Old Man Logan count? It’s very standalone.
