Damian - but only because Cassandra Cain missed out by one year
Clearly the only answer is Damian Wayne. I mean there are already multiple versions of this poll on the net and he wins every time.
Wish I had a list to thumb through.
The Kate's IE Manhunter and especially Batwoman are particularly great. Though given her books don't seem to sell all that well it's hard to tell how outright successful she is in print. Still she IS making her way into animated forms so that's fun.
Jaime's a big one appearing in the Brave and the Bold cartoon, Young Justice and even Smallville. Though much like Mahunter their comics don't tend to do all that well.
Lastly Miss Martian herself has become almost as synonymous to the term Martian as J'Onn is despite her extremely small years of publication and lack of a real connection to J'onn usually aside from being from the same planet (as opposed to the YJ cartoon that made her his niece). It helps that she was debuted at a time that Supergirl wasn't doing so well story wise and caught fans eyes as a better spiritual successor to Supergirl than Supergirl was at the time and held a huge role in the Young Justice cartoon.
Damian Wayne..
Thanks to Gleason RSOB, I can not change my election.
Definitely. Striker Z, Witchfire and that version of Manhunter also were favorites of mine, from that decade (although the Manhunter doesn't count, since he'd been around longer).
If their names were Batrocket, Superstriker Z and Witchlantern, they'd probably still be around.
Damian wayne hands down, he's the character that got me back to reading comics in the first place.
It's almost a dead tie between Damian and Jaime but I think I read more Damian then Blue Beetle so he will get my vote.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
As much as I love Kate as Batwoman and Saint Walker, but it is hands down Damian Wayne Morrison did such an amazing job with him. Other writers been hit or missed, but when the writers get him he is amazing.
My vote (and I'm sure it's gonna be the only one) for the Apocalyptic Scooby Gang.
I always had soft spots for...
Manitou Raven
Manchester Black
and Vera Black (aka Sister Superior)
I wonder if its just coincidence that they were all created by Joe Kelly and Doug Mahnke.
Also, Arkillo. Just like the guy
Dex-Starr. Always.
