    Only got 18/26!

I did not read many of those stories and did not know the answers.

I dispute that Circe is a god. She was born of gods, but she's not portrayed as one of their ilk. She's more like a witch or sorceress. At best she's a demi-goddess.

Yes, that is how I see it and got that one wrong! (Haha--sounds like I am talking about a test!)

Yeah, I got that one wrong too. Circe isn't a goddess, Hecate who gave her power was.

It's funny how they make War of the Gods sound so much more interesting than it lived up to in it's execution.

I also got 29 and 32 wrong because my memory failed me, so my score was 23/26.

20/26. What issue did she hurl a rock into the center of the sun?

I did not know WW did that either---sounds more like a Superman feat. It must be from an old WW comic Pre-Crisis.

When answering that question, I remembered WW standing on her plane with a bolder in her lasso that she was swinging-- but I don't remember that going into the sun or even if that was the correct instance. Rarggh!

20/26. Need to re-read some of those old issues. (When did she hurl a rock into the sun?)

I got 25/26, which amazes me, as most of those War of the Gods stories are a distant memory. Most of my answers were guesses. I don't recall her throwing a rock into the center of the sun either (so I got that wrong).

Also, wasn't Myndi dead already when Skeeter shot her in the head?

Yes from a cocaine overdose, probably the most shocking real world outcome ever in a Wonder Woman comic. It goes to show how great the Perez run was, he put Diana in various types of stories and they all worked equally well.

20/26 for me! Man, I have some re-reading to do!
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

    23/26.

This quiz reminded me of how convoluted a story War of the Gods is. I also don't remember Di throwing a rock several million miles into the center of the sun.
