    Default Quinn vs. The Bride

Scenario: it's the season 2 finale of Into the Badlands, only this time Quinn is holding onto Beatrix Kiddo's child in his underground stronghold. The child is her age at the end of Kill Bill Vol. 2, not a baby.

Kiddo get's her sword, motorcycle, Bajie's support and a warning that the place is rigged to explode. Quinn gets all of his advantages and disadvantages (like knowing that she'll come, but not when).

Both Kiddo and Quinn have the same primary and secondary goals: securing the child and killing each other. Both would (at least arguably) settle for the primary.

    WHO wins?

Quinn got stabbed like three times and each time was a death blow and he kept on fighting. He's hard to kill, she needs to go for a beheading to make absolutely sure that dude is dead.

Why is it important that the place is rigged to explode if nobody wants to kill the kid and it isn't actually a hostage situation?

I think the Widow could've beaten the Bride, much less Quinn.

quinn got stabbed in the chest with a giant sword and was still able to fight sunny on equal terms.

if kiddo doesn't cut off his head, he could simply outlast her.

To be fair, he'd run Sunny through a pretty thorough gauntlet of stuff at that point.

Knowing how Sunny tends to plow through his opposition, and that Sunny still snapped back to ripping Clippers apart with Baije with ease...That somehow feels like a minor advantage.

Because Quinn didn't rig it very thoroughly. Even after detonating all the bombs, none of the remaining combatants were directly hurt by the explosions and the place took several minutes to finally collapse from structural damage. He also used a planted explosive proactively by detonating it while Sonny was standing underneath, burying him for a while. So it's an added danger, but not an insta-kill-all.

quinn was beasting dudes left and right despite being injured. it still doesn't change the fact that quinn was still able to fight him after getting run through with a sword.

That's more a testament to Sunny than anything, he still went into that fight having been shot with flaming arrows, buried under debris, etc. I'd hesitate to call him factory fresh for that.
