    as it seems, manga seems to be the only place you'll find what you're looking for

    not a lot of call for it in American comics - even independent comics

    heck even Strangers In Paradise couldn't manage a feminine male character

    Of course, the Golden Age had some costumes that weren't very macho.

    The GA Red Bee had an outfit with see-through sleeves that were sometimes pink and sometimes baby blue.
