i would say logan. early on, the relationship between storm and kitty was great, but as they got older they drifted apart. i think kitty and logan kept their bond. she even went with him on his last mission in the death of wolverine, which i thought was nice

In the beginning nearly all the X-Men were like surrogate parents to Kitty (except Peter who was more the older brother type). I think the more interesting pairing would be whether Charles or Logan had the bigger impact on Kitty.

Well, she admitted he's the standard by which she judges romantic partners, he taught her to fight, vouched for her leadership (twice!), treated her like an adult before most, tried to be an example, reinforced her decisions... I would say Kitty today resembles Logan a hell of a lot more than she does Storm. What impact has Ororo had on her specifically?
