Same here. A couple of their older records don't really hold up over time, but White Noise was/is a classic.

Oh, yeah.

On the other hand, there's a small circle where those guys were a cornerstone the way Minor Threat was elsewhere. Seems like the folks from Superchunk brought that up when Reed passed recently.

The progress that band and Neurosis made cannot be overstated. They are each legit American gems.

While the band isn't exactly "Metal", Kuzuha is a truly great metal guitarist.
