Basically a tribute to Hunter S Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"

For what it's worth Motley Crue has a song called "Generation Swine" which was also inspired by Thompson though it's nowhere near as good. I have both these books buried in a box somewhere in my closet...

Between the buried and me and mastadon are my current faves but i love me some classic grindcore (repulsion, napalm death, carcass and terrorizer)
90's sludge metal like eyehategod and crowbar is pretty sweet too.
Oh and some doom like st vitus and pentagram and of course some sabbath....

I can't hate on the guy's skill, but I never warmed up to Yngwie all that much. Having said that, I do like this song

I loved this song and bought the album. But in all honesty, this song was really the only thing I liked from the band. I just never really got into them otherwise.

Great guitar player. Colossal prick on a galactic level.

I'm insanely excited for the new Mindforce LP coming out next week.

While they are technically a hardcore band, it's some serious crossover and they are one of the best thrashy bands around right now in my opinion.

I get such nice Suicidal Tendencies vibes from them.

Between them, Red Death and Power Trip, crossover hasn't been this good since like Thrashzone.

I go back and forth on my favorite Bon era ACDC album all the time. If you ask me on a Monday I'll say "Powerage," if you ask me on Tuesday I'll say "Highway to Hell." If You Want Blood was the title of a live album from 78-79 (?), but the actual song appears on "Highway" which was released a year later. The image in the video where Angus is impaled with his own guitar is a recreation of the the live album cover.

I bought this at a yardsale when I was about 11, without ever hearing the band but being familiar with the name, as I bought metal/rock mags regularly for GNR/Def Leppard. It's still probably my favorite AC/DC slab.
