Is it safe to assume based on the Didact's showings that he's of comparable speed to Chief? If so it's a blitz.

I dunno. Normally I would say "no" to speed parity stuff unless the character in question is of the same stock. Like say, another Spartan.

Buuuut it feels pretty dang silly to assume the Forerunner version of Master Chief is slower.

It should be noted however, that he murdered an entire Spartan team in a straight dustup after the confrontation with Master Chief (he survived, apparently). So it's pretty safe to say he's comfortably above a Spartan.
