Well, she needs to go somewhere and she seems to be forming a place with the GoTG.

If she goes fully to Asgard stuff we wont really see her as she doesn't really have a place in a Loki or Thor book.

The thing that I loved about DnA's cosmic stuff was, they knew how to write relationships. They did buddy comics quite well. Nova and Star-lord, Nova and Quasar, Nova and Drax - excellent stuff. I love their Nova and Gamora relationship also, as well as how Nova and Phyla related during the Annihilation series.

Star-Lord: Pre Bendis Peter Quill, more true to Kieth Giffens Peter.

Gamora: Pre Bendis, in a new uniform mixing classic with annihilation era

Drax: as is, but def adding the DnA philisophical pondering

Rocket and Groot: A must. Pre Bendis, Rocket IS a raccoon.

Adam Warlock: The merlin to Peters king arthur. Cosmic mage!

Nova: Richard Rider with prime status. Hes the powerhouse.

Support staff would include Cosmo, Moondragon, and Mantis, the teeping telepaths

If I could have an eigth member it would be Quasar: Wendell Vaghn

I'd keep Star-lord, Rocket, Groot, Gamora, and Drax as they are the staple cast of the guardians.

I'd add Nova(Sam) and Cammi to the team because they both have history with guardians.

Captain Marvel and Angela can stay on as recurring characters.

Oh, good call on Cammi! This line-up might even make Sam a little more bearable.

You know it might be kind of neat to see Nova (Richard Rider) on a team with Vance Astro. It would be an interesting dynamic to see Rider contrast his perception of Astro as an older man against that of the younger Vance that is currently Justice, and is a good friend to Rich. It would be a cool way to demonstrate how life, experiences and time can change personalities and influence people to evolve along different paths while possibly retaining some elements of an unchanging core?
