You know I can't help but feel this was purely to put a big release clause in his contract in case one of the bigger clubs come in for him. Seems more plausible now that Zidane has stepped down too.

I'm starting to get excited about the World Cup now. I really haven't been bothered about it but it's kicked in today. Saturday 16th June has 4 games on live and they don't overlap!

Name the 5 players who have won the Premiership, the Champions League and the World Cup.

Admittedly, I struggled lol. Kicked myself a bit when I found out the answers though.

The World Cup starts today! I'm excited for it now. I'm planning on watching as many matches as possible. Hopefully Russia and Saudia Arabia today will be a good opener.

They are probably the two worst teams in the cup so I would of hoped some good few errors would lead to some goals but Russia haven't been able to score in most of their games.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Saudi Arabia win. It could set a bad tone for the tournament if the Russian's lose the opener though. Either way, I hope it's entertaining!

Their CB was horrendous. Well, both were. I hope Uruguay go far in the touranment. My friend from Ecuador told me that the 'G' is silent.

Yeah their defence was awfui. I think it was Russia's second goal that was just far too easy. Well, they all were really lol.
