Yeah I think he'll be gone too. Even if this rumour isn't true, I think by the end of the window, he'll be gone. If the fee ends up being less than £40m it'll be a travesty.

I honestly don't think we can without spending all of the money we get for him, which we won't. Gylfi had more assists than Sanchez, Ozil and Fabregas last season, and we certainly won't be buying someone of their calibre. I wouldn't be surprised if something happens like us getting Ross Barkley as part of the deal, but I don't rate him.

I don't rate Oxlaide. So we'll probably get him I agree it's 50-50 regarding Van Dijk but I'm still hopeful we can get him. Probably wouldn't be until deadline day but still...LOL.

Lots of rumours on twitter than Gylfi is off to the Everton for £30m. I'll be fuming if we've let him go for that amount. He's worth £40m at least when you look at his assists, goals, free kicks etc. This will be typical of the new owners at Swansea though. Sell star player for less than what he's worth, replace him with someone a third of the cost and pocket the profit. They did the same thing last summer.

It could all be rumour though and no truth in it. Fingers crossed.

Barkley is a weird one. He has tons of potential but no-one (himself included) seem to know what his best position is. I know you didn't mention him in this post but I thought it'd be easier to talk about him in this one to save space LOL. As for Sigurdsson, with the amount of money Everton have been spending this summer I wouldn't be surprised if they stumped up the cash for him.

Agreed. He hasn't earned that price tag yet. Then again a lot of footballers (even mediocre ones) end up costing loads of money nowadays

Seems like the Twitter rumours yesterday weren't true. Swansea have now upped Gylfi's value to £50m. Thank god. Looks like Jack Cork is on his way out to Burnley for £10m too. He actually hasn't been a bad player for us but with Mesa signing, we're probably over subscribed in midfield so someone had to go. Amat has joined Real Betis on loan too, which hopefully means we'll be signing a centre back.

We were being linked with Badstuber a few weeks ago, so I'd be happy with him. I think he's been released from Bayern Munich so he'd be free as well.
