They are wealthy, but they don't spend any of their own money. Last summer it looked like they were asset stripping to MAKE money from us. We'll see what happens with the Gylfi money.

Due to an ankle injury apparently. It was a great time being a Swansea fan when we had him scoring for us. I'll never forget the 2 goals he scored at the Emirates when we beat Arsenal 2-0. Good times.

Well, Tranmere took their 4-0 loss to us out on Cammel Laird, they won 11-0 scoring 9 before half-time LOL. Tottenham lost 3-1 to Ebbsfleet, though to be fair I don't think they chose their best players for that match.

I wouldn't know as I haven't followed that but commiserations to them nonetheless as I'm sure they're disappointed.

What do you make of Kyle Walker joining Man City DebkoX. Frankly I'm surprised you got anywhere near that much for him but that's the crazy market I guess.

Crazy money which makes sense from our perspective IF we use it well. Trippier is solid, and Walker-Peters is looking good. The money must be used well however. Walker was a very good RB.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised he left tbh, I know he stated Pep was a reason but still...Ah well, at least Spurs can't say they don't have money to spend LOL.

It's been a strange summer for transfers. Everton are the big spenders so far really in terms of the amount they seem to be bringing in LOL.

Hopefully for Spurs it won't start a snowball effect and lose Alli and Dier afterwards. I'd like to see Spurs win the title so I hope they use the money wisely and push on again next season.

Same. I am a bit annoyed though with the prices for the Juventus "friendly".

That's the bonus to being a Swansea fan, cheap friendlies lol. I'm going to Birmingham v Swansea on 29th July and it was £10 a ticket. Obviously I'd rather see them play Juventus though lol.

Yeah, speaking as a neutral if Liverpool don't win the league (which we won't) this season than it'd be nice to see Tottenham do it after the last couple of seasons.

Friendlies should always be cheap, perfect opportunity to give fans who can't afford a season ticket (even a one-off match ticket) a chance to go to a game IMO

I agree. I get that they were playing European giants but it's still a goddamn friendly. Make it cheap.
