Proper football is back on this weekend, the International break can't go away fast enough as far as I'm concerned personally.

Indeed. Swansea are away at Burnley. Big game for us. Badly need a win.

And the trend continues. Italy 0 Sweden 0

That’s six World Cup playoff games in a row ending 0-0. What were the betting odds of that happening? More shockingly Italy will not be at next years World Cup finals!

I didn't see the Italy v Sweden game but looking at the stats, Italy battered Sweden tonight, but just couldn't score. Italy had 76% possession and 27 shots. Bet Sweden are over the moon!

    Holland too right?
The quality has dipped a little. Italy has bright young players like Donarumma, Romagnoli and Pellegri to look forward to.
I'm afraid i can't say teh same about holland..the factory just kinda stopped

Ah well, good luck anyway after the International break, unless you're playing LFC that is LOL.
It was so stupid to do it at that time of the match! No he doesn't but just lacked the straight thinking to see the match out. Thank you we've got a mare of a few weeks coming up, think we have your lot away next year. That's usually a good day out, few too many in the Arkles before hand to soften the usual defeat lol best of luck too (but not too much I still won't forgive your lot for 2006!)

LOL Well you can blame Sissoko for 2006, seeing as how despite the fact it's been called ''the Gerrard final'' Sissoko was the actual man-of-the-match LOL. But yeah the Liverpool-West Ham fixture is usually a good one and naturally I look forward to getting three more points that day

The floodgates opened tonight for the final European playoff game for the World Cup. Must have been saving all the goals for this one game. Pity Ireland was on the losing end of it all.

To be fair the young players did win their World Cups so you've actually got a reason to be optimistic for the future. Just hope they don't start doing the ''Golden Generation'' bullshit again as the Golden Generation was the 60s since that's when England won the World Cup and got to the final of the European Cup.

Anyhow, LOL. Looking forward to the Premier League coming back on this week.

Yep. Interesting couple of games. It'll be interesting to see if Van Dijk plays. Hopefully we'll do in those three games, though none of them will be easy.

Well, Liverpool won't be playing Tranmere in the F.A. Cup this year due to them getting knocked out last night.
