I didn't see the final. I was out all evening so missed it. I knew it would be a 1-0 to either side though. I imagine it was a boring game of cancelling each other out without taking any risks.

It was very dull. Makes me wish we tried harder as we could have won it. But eh, football is full of 'could haves'.

I've also decided to skip the play-off final. Next week is a Bank Holiday on Monday and my final exams start on Tuesday. I'll probably watch it whilst revising.

In other news, I feel for Napoli.

Shame you can't make the play off final. I bet Coventry will take a big following to Wembley. Exeter's following won't be as big I expect.

    What's happening at Napoli?

The fact that they didn't have the will to go and win the league. When they beat Juventus 1-0, I thought they would.

Ah I getcha. It is becoming a bit predictable with who wins Serie A recently.

In other news, Arsenal have appointed their new manager.

Arsenal are set to appoint Unai Emery as their new manager.

Manchester City assistant manager and former Gunners captain Mikel Arteta was strong favourite to succeed Arsene Wenger.

Emery emerged as the unanimous choice following a recruitment process in which all candidates were spoken to.

The 46-year-old Spaniard is available after leaving Paris St-Germain where he won one Ligue 1 title and four domestic cups in two seasons in charge.

Previously he guided Sevilla to three consecutive Europa League triumphs between 2014 and 2016.

Interesting. At least this is a real attempt.

Very interesting. I don't feel he is the man to 'stabilise' the boat

Much better choice than Arteta I reckon. He seems to like a cup win, so there could be trophies for Arsenal.

Basically this. Less anger with it.

Arteta always felt like a fall guy.

New manager out of left field it is then. We’ll see how he comes.

All that worry over Arteta turned out to be over nothing in the end LOL. Still, we'll have to wait and see how Emery gets on in the Premier League at Arsenal. I wish him well. Not TOO well obviously

Since I last posted here, Chelsea won the F.A. Cup so congrats to them. Especially since they beat Man Utd LOL.

Other than that, I'm interested in the Play-Offs to see what happens there. Not as interested as I am in the Champions League but its the only non-Liverpool news I have to talk about right now besides Emery being appointed Arsenal manager.

There's barely any transfer talk at the moment. It's mainly all manager talk of who is going where. Ancelotti is taking over at Napoli.

Speaking of managers, how long before Rafa Benitez is on the move again? It seems like he’s coached everywhere on the planet except in the U.S. for MLS.
