I always think Uruguay are a dirty team and I can't stand Luis Suarez lol. Portugal are dirty too. Can't stand Pepe. Lots of cheating, moaning to the ref, VAR hand motions from players etc in that game I reckon. I'm predicting a Uruguay win.

I'm still not convinced England are in a far easier side of the draw though. They've still got Spain and Croatia on their side, and Sweden and Switzerland are no push overs. It just looks a bit better because it's where Germany would've ended up if they'd made it through.

I'm rooting for Uruguay simply because in my eyes they're the lesser of two evils, FluffySheep. I'm hoping whoever they'd face next will win.

England will do what they almost always do, reach the quarter finals and then get knocked out is my prediction.

In other news I've discovered that the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers begin next week so I'm looking forward to that even though Liverpool won't enter yet. It'll give me a chance to possibly see Rangers' first competitive game under Stevie G as well.

Best game so far for me. Pavard and Di Maria - holy crap, it's going to be an interesting debate for goal of the tournament at this rate

I'd like Portugal to win, primarily because I want Ronaldo to win the WC.

The European Champion lost today against Uruguay.
Portugal had more possesion of the ball but even so they lost the match today.
Ah well,that´s soccer sometimes.Congrats to Uruguay,they have a great team for sure.
So i was suporting Portugal,now with Portugal out of the World Cup i am looking forward to see the matches of Brasil,Japan and France.

Hope France destroy Russia that was utter boredom. But credit to Russia for hanging on to their negative tactic and seeing the game through.
Spain passed and rarely looked threatening but that was largely due to Russia wanting pens the whole night. And we see why.

Kinda serves Spain right for playing boring football. They've been sussed out since Euro 2012. Possession football just doesn't cut it anymore.
