It's alright, England will get knocked out either in the Quarters like usual or at the Semis at best and then it'll be ''England Sucks! New Manager!'' ''Winter Break!'' etc, etc. You know the usual excuses by now I'm sure

I've got this feeling that they'll make the final. Compared to the teams on the other side of the draw, England shouldn't stand a chance at beating any of them, but weirder things have happened in this world cup. Being Welsh and living in England, I'll never hear the end of it!

Like I say, it's England so they'll fail as usual LOL. If they prove me wrong I'll be pleased for Henderson and Alexander-Arnold but I personally wouldn't be bothered as long as no Liverpool players get hurt in the World Cup. Still, I suppose they've got a decent chance of making the semis given that they've got Sweden in the quarters.

Bit of transfer news for anyone who's interested

Real Madrid have signed Alvaro Odriozola from Real Sociedad

Buffon will be ''unveiled'' by PSG on Monday as a new signing.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Tottenham are expected to complete a 20m deal for Aston Villa's Jack Grealish

Watford have signed Ken Sema from Ostersunds, so Arsenal fans might be a bit familiar with him due to last season's Europa League.

Burton have signed David Templeton from Hamilton Academicals.

According to the South Wales Post, Besiktas are trying to sign Bony from Swansea City.

Apparently Real Sociedad are close to signing Merino from Newcastle United after activating the 10m release clause. Newcastle have already signed his replacement, a South Korean called Ki Sung-Yeung.

Swansea and Hull are apparently competing to sign a Yeovil player by the name of Tom James who is apparently mostly a right-back.

Napoli have signed Fabian Ruiz from Real Betis.

Eintracht Frankfurt have signed two players, Lucas Torro from Real Madrid and Evan Obite N'Dicka from Auxerre.

According to the Daily Star Alex Sandro has agreed to join Man Utd from Juventus for a reported 53m. Also, according the S*n, Jose Mourinho is interested in signing Shaqiri from Stoke.

Fulham fans might be pleased (I'm assuming they would be from what I've heard of him) to know that Cairney has signed a new contract for five more years.

That's all I've got for now regarding transfers, in case anyone is wondering where I've heard all this it's from Sky Sports' transfer news page.

Bit more news on the transfer front. Toulouse have signed a former England youth international called John Bostock from Bursaspor on a 3-year deal.

Again, this was on the Sky Sports Transfer News page.

It's been quite weird not having any football to watch yesterday and today. I'm looking forward to the World Cup coming back tomorrow.

Quite a bit of transfer gossip flying around then! Ronaldo to Juventus is a big one. I reckon that could happen this summer. Why he'd choose Juventus over Swansea is beyond me though

An update on Ronaldo. According to Sky Sources, Juventus have met the 100m Euros release clause for Ronaldo and are waiting for Real Madrid to accept. Apparently Juventus would prefer to get this done by Saturday so they can do the announcement on the 7th of July as part of their plan to have the announcement on the 7th month to go with CR7. Apparently Juventus are ''optimistic'' about the deal.

And that's that for tonight LOL.

Well, assuming the Birmingham Mail is correct and Spurs do get Grealish, I'm not sure who he'd start ahead of myself personally. But I guess it'd be interesting to see how he got on.

Early morning transfer gossip before I head off to work.

West Ham are apparently closing in on a deal with Wilshere who is a free agent after leaving Arsenal.

Robles, former Everton goalkeeper who was released at the end of the season, has signed for Real Betis.

If I get the chance, I'll be back on later

Swansea have signed a 19-year old from Real Madrid by the name of Jordi Govea, just need his work permit to be completed now. Zarate has left Watford for Boca Juniors, Grabban has joined Nottm Forest from Bournemouth. And that's the latest I've heard in terms of confirmed moves LOL.

In other news, France have beaten Uruguay 2-0 to move to the semis.

Not bad for a lunchbreak update LOL.

There was a barbers in Swansea that ended up announcing Govea before the club did. He was in there getting his hair cut and that's how we found out we'd signed him. Swansea City FC the PROFESSIONAL football club ladies and gentleman lol.

Looks like Uruguay missed Cavani today. Keeper had a shocker for the 2nd goal as well.

I'm really hoping Belgium knock Brazil out tonight. 1-0 up at the mo. Can't be doing with Neymar anymore.
