Exactly! There is no problem, but the haters seem to think that Logan is stealing the limelight from other characters they like. Logan is popular and he sells; end of story.

Because quantity doesn't equal quality. Because sticking Wolverine in everything under the sun hogs all the attention and prevents other characters from getting a shot to shine. Because "he sells" is invalid when you throw so much of him out there that SOMETHING with him is bound to be bought regardless of people wanting it or not. Because some writers and editors will insist on shoving him into something regardless of it making sense or whether or not he sells.

Take your pick, they all apply.

It's not even oversaturation, there just isn't a Logan book this summer except if you count DML. He's on two teams, yes, but so is Cap or whatever. They're actually showing a shocking amount of restraint.

You assume that without Wolverine around other characters would shine more in the X-books. I’d argue there would just be fewer books and he isn’t stealing any spotlight from anyone who would otherwise be getting it.

How is him being in a Weapon Plus one-shot with Captain America or Savage Avengers hogging spotlight from other mutants?

It doesn't. Most of the other characters wouldn't get a chance to shine because people actually care about a very small number of characters, particularly when it comes to the X-Men. If it wasn't Logan, it could be Cyclops or someone CBR complains about because random-mutant-pre-Decimation #563 isn't getting the chance to shine. But some people need to blame something or someone, so that's how it goes.

I just wish they'd use him to take risks. Give him a book with some lesser know xmen to rase their profiles. Insted we have him repeating old ideas.
Also Jljust because Logan is added dosent mean he is the best choice or it will be good.
