Im pretty sure if the internet's boogeypeople were behind the outcome it wouldn't have been the white woman who won the vote. Recognizability is a much more likely reason, especially considering Polaris had a recent television show. Even a TV show at cancelation numbers on a minor network probably has 100 times the audience of a comic book, and that's lowballing the numbers.

Dark does not mean deep.
Not surprised would have preferred Sunspot he has never been an X-Man to my knowledge, not mad about Polaris though she is the 2nd lady of X-Men but has never really been treated like it...Boom Boom would have been a fun and interesting personality on the team. Wasn't that familiar with Tempo but at the end of the day popularity and recognition have to be earned perhaps they can put her in one of the other dozen of x titles and if the character is a good one and takes off that can be a springboard to bigger things.
So excited to see Rogue and Jean on a team together again.

Bobby should be a regular in this book. Dadverine too. You can never have enough stabby people.
