Who's the black jewish girl between Emma and Rogue? Is that a new character?

It's Sabra and she's probably not black? Though it's an AU so who knows. and if she was, she's always been very light skinned. Ethnically she's an Israeli citizen of presumably Jewish and Middle Eastern heritage, which explains the fro' which she has had in the some early appearances.

Being Israeli doesn't automatically mean you have middle eastern heritage since not all the jewish diaspira is from the middle east. In that cover Sabra's hair looks more like an afro than an 80's perm so that's why I thought it was someone else. She's kinda giving Lana Kane

Sabra is indeed Israeli and works for the Mossad. She was great during Zero Tolerance era. Shepherd (Gabriel) joined her a few years ago.

Anyway, Sabra has not been a very consistent character and we don't have a lot information on her.

So in one cover they just draw Sabra as Kitty with a tan and now she's Misty Knight. Now I don't feel bad about Twitter roasting Marvel for the X-Corp art.

Sabra's not black though. As mentioned, she looks more like Misty Knight. Her OZT design was everything and they should stick with that
