So. There are people who really liked Deadly Genesis? The team are fine from a character design point of view, but really, the mini series as a whole was just garbage to me, I have no emotional connection to any of them(not even Darwin, who is the most interesting). I still don't know what the heck Vulcan is doing here. That is actually very messed up to clone this dude and reset him to an earlier mindset that doesn't know all what just happened there..

You plucked the thought from my brain. While she certainly has a lot on her plate over at Hellfire, I've been looking forward to seeing Emma interacting/working with/assisting the children. I personally always find that to be some of her best character work.

I, personally, loved "Deadly Genesis." I was very intrigued by Peta and Sway because they did not come back like Vulcan and Darwin. I also love female characters and the fact that those DG covers were drawn by Marc Silvestri. Silvestri was the penciller on Uncanny when I first started reading it in 1988 so he-and his work-will always be special to me.
I'm also excited about them coming back because:
1. Xavier has some explaining to do.
2. I want stories that deal with the effects of resurrection.
3. How will the 3rd team react to the actual "2nd team" who were put together to save them.
Petra and Sway need reparations. They need a special place on Krakoa.
Hickman is the f*cking man for what he's doing with The X-Men.

But fr, DG fucking sucks, oh my. The characters are fine and all, conceptually, but the whole thing is a mess. Xavier ruined for years, Banshee dead. At least War of Kings did well enough with Vulcan.
