as cheesy as it is... I actually think the third one looks best. the first two just... I can see they're trying but it's just missing the mark.

I also know the headpiece is kind of Jean's thing but I'm not sure it goes with the Phoenix look.

The first one is cute. The second one is hideous to me... I don't think anyone should be judging the new costume based on that, it's super stylized and the boots, gloves and chest piece are obviously not gonna be looking like that. Also what's with the forehead showing so much above the cowl? Ugh lol.

Why do you assume he thinks it's incredible? He more likely thinks that he's happy to have met another deadline to make money to put food on the table for himself and his family. If you don't like his cover then don't buy it.

I won't , but I question anyone who is commissioned to do an original variant for a comic cover and submits one that is mostly traced from previous work. And let's not pretend Greg Land is starving.

Totally agree!! They ruined the original Phoenix design. Horrible outfit that looks more 70s than the original one from the 70s………
