Russell Dauterman posted the covers for the first two issues of X-Men:Red! He confirmed he's doing the covers like he did for Marauders! (Kind of a bummer for Stefano Caselli though. He never gets the cover gigs!)

Hoping for a Caselli variant with the whole team on it.
Also, anyone know if Russell Dauterman has ever drawn Cable? I look forward to seeing his take on the character.
That Ororo vs Gabe cover is fire.

There's a few takeaways from Kieron's interview:
- Storm, Nightcrawler and probably Colossus won't have much of the focus, since their hands are already full with side stuff. Which does not mean that they won't matter. I don't think this applies to Emma, since I believe Kate will be taking over Marauders and Frost's role there might shrink/disappear.
- They'll be able to handle characters' age, which is amazing. Hopefully there'll be no excuse to prevent the New X-men Kids (and Generation X) from getting older.
- Machinations, backstabbing, politcs! I love thesse kind of themes and it makes me excited for this book.
Storm, Magneto, Sunspot vs Brand, Cable, and Vulcan would be a verrryyy interesting division. I hope this book's supporting cast is as big as SWORD's.
So do we think Cable’s having a heel turn here? Or is he really working on secret machinations of his own? Sounds like the latter to me. But… Cable has been shown to have strongly held convictions. Fanatical almost, at times. So if he believes Brand is right, then I could see him truly on her side. From the last couple of issues of SWORD, however, it seems more like he’ll be a thorn in her side honestly.
Guess we’ll find out…
Cable does his own thing regardless of what anyone else says or thinks...
This was posted in Storm's thread, but bringing it here because it's awesome!
