Yeah, there weren't many references to her being a mutant in the new series (Hell, the opening arc gave a lot of ammo to suggest she wasn't) but the height seems to be the one acknowledgement Rowell made. She's surprisingly tall. I've never been too sold on the "psychic" angle for her abilities for the most part, but it'd be neat if they were and she just so happens to be enormous.

It's mentioned in dialogue, and demonstrated in the art. That panel was just from a sequence where they could all be compared.
