Upcoming X-books art teases

So far here's how I'm feeling:

Uncanny X-Men - Definitely buying
X-Men - Definite first issue buy
Exceptional X-Men - Waiting to see a preview. Definite Maybe
X-Force - Definitely picking up the first issue because of Marcus To's artwork.
Phoenix - Waiting to see a preview. Maybe.
NYX - Pleasantly surprised so definitely picking at least the 1st issue.

If Marvel wants me to buy all of these on release day they should price them at $1.99.

It just dawned on me that the following characters in the Heir of Apocalypse mini are unlikely to walk away with that mantle and status quo change…

- Emma Frost (in Exceptional)
- Laura (in NYX)
- Forge (in X-Force)
- Mirage (has been seen in Greg Capullo artwork for his book)

I am, of course, assuming that whoever becomes the Heir is going to look different as a result. So that would take 1/3 off the field off the board as being the winner.

That Dauterman artbook is being funded on Kickstarter? Why wouldn't Marvel pay for it to be published?
