These are legitimately perfect designs. They’re almost common sense. They keep each character’s familiar or iconic motifs, but are still completely updated and new. This is what fans desperately want. And it would be so easy to have it.

Perfectly said. They blend enough nostalgia into the design to be instantly recognizable for most characters, have a unified look (great for a team suit), and are new enough that they can't be considered retreads.

Rogue and Colosssus looks cool. Colossus has pants so it is cool.
Gambit with closed-collar look reminded me of Blade Runner 2049.

On further contemplation, I absolutely LOVE the black and green combination on Rogue as it harkens back to the MM to Outback eras which are my favourite Rogue years/looks.
