I know it's somewhat mean spirited, but i was thinking how fortunate it is for those who don't like her portrail in Excalibur that they can get this cover via a Wolverine issue instead.

Howard using Selene (and Jason) in X-Corp just makes M and Warren look stupid to me. Selene is unambiguously evil and self serving, and has also never had any interest in business. There is no reason for Monet and Angel to want to work with her, she brings nothing of value to the table. If Tini wanted to use an X-ternal Gideon would have made a lot more sense, he is an established businessman and much less blatantly evil than Selene.

Monet said that she liked Selene in the Hellfire Gala issue, if I remember correctly.

And, I believe that Angel is using Jason to cover up for Warren using his Archangel personality. Don't know why he would need to, seeing as everyone on the the island knows that he has the Archangel form. You would think that Xavier, Jean, Emma, or any other telepath would have already checked to see if the Archangel personality was there if they have already seen the Archangel form.

Still, it s awfully stupid to take in either of these characters. Even the Fenris Twins would have made for better recruits, and that's saying something.

A better question might be why would Selene and Jason want to work for X-Corp, seeing as Monet and Madrox have basically ruined the company already with their incompetence.

I guess that Selene and Jason would only want to take X-Corp for themselves for the money and what little useful tech that X-Corp possesses.
