Meh. I was hoping to see more of the team, but all of the covers are Laura.
And she's not even in her new costume so we can get a good look at it.

It may be that Laura is the first issue's POV character. But that doesn't make these covers any less underwhelming. The least they could have done was have her in her new look.

I don’t disagree. As someone who isn’t buying this one, I was always underwhelmed by it, whether Laura is the headliner or Kamala or Leech… or Anole. Whoever the green dude is on the cover.

This is not a "team" book.

the lineup is only for our core five. This book has a much larger cast than the cover can hold - we're not a team book, we're an exploration of community. So your faves may yet appear.

This isn't a "set roster" kind of book. These are our point of view characters for each of the first five issues - but we'll be expanding both cast and perspective as the story builds beyond.

Their own series don't seem to last particular long anymore either. The market simply does not support them anymore.

Kamala in particular can also feel like a sunken cost fallacy for Marvel at this point.

It's still an ensemble book, so they should show the ensemble on covers.
I doubt each issue will only show one character from the cast like these covers so.
