I love how Marvel is trying to build up Empyre as a serious, earth-shattering conflict for the Avengers/Fantastic Four, meanwhile the x-office is just poking fun at how ridiculous this premise is.

he's easy quote-unquote comic relief and there are plenty of pre-established narrative avenues they could take him down. its more for the benefit of the writers imo
