Seeing Hordeculture there I'm thinking it could have been a different and more interesting story if they had initially approached the X-Men/Krakoa from a position of benevolence and wanting to help mutants by offering their botanical expertise...instead of antagonistically committing floral banditry.

To me, they're a joke group with a joke name whose victory over the X-Men comes off as 'funny'. I agree that having them be [sassy] allies would have worked much better... but then we wouldn't have had them tell Emma to go wash her nasty vag.

Its nice that X-Men will tie inn with issues 10 and 11 and also with the mini. The X-Men issues seems to focus mostly on the 1.5 X-Men Sway, Vulcan and Petra and the mini on Angel and Magik.
