This chaos event is so irrelevant (the tie-ins not even written by Duggan) that he could honestly still die or be taken out of commission and they’d just have to say the annual took place before the Hellfire Gala.

I think they’ll be corrupted by chaos magic so I guess “who is more canonically powerful” doesn’t seem relevant

He either needs to win or draw while defeating whatever is the reason they are fighting. Otherwise it would be an insanely boring fight, the only superhuman power he has is one Cpt Marvel should be inmune to, while she is one of the strongest beings in the universe

All of them will be effected by magic that's true but we will see if that includes to amps to keep it more even. This is certainly the most unbalanced matchup they have shown so far so there is probably something more to it.

I find it funny that Spider-Man could pull a "Ah ****, here we go again" reference because he already was corrupted not even that long ago in the original Darkhold series.
