From what i recall it was such an important status symbol of the pharao that even Hatshepsut was either depicted with it or actualy wore it during her rule.

The question is if the artist and/or writer knows of it's importance in the ancient egyptian iconography and added it to Apocalypse's design to highlight his intent to become a supreme ruler again, or if they simply thought it would look neat, because most people know it from Tutanchamun famous death mask and it's another easy to randomly copy element of ancient egypt in pop culture meaning or usage be damned?

Considering Revelationaka o--:[A]:--o (and later, his family, really...going by their design) is seen as the forbearer(s) of ancient Egyptian civilisation it stands to reason the writers would know of its importance intentionally to highlight his royal status. They would have done their research. I could be wrong but I don't even think this is the first time he's been depicted as a "Pharaoh".

I honestly don't think there are really any more to share, I think characters like Betsy and Gambit just may not attend the Gala, or at the very least if they do they arent going to be shown on panel
