I don't know about Polaris, but it's good to have Sunfire in another outfit. Western comic books fans probably don't care but rising sun imagery is a no no in a lot of asian countries and so bad for MCU. Plus it's just in bad faith, imagine someone wearing the swastika as a costume and your not too far off base (though obvs Japanese people don't see it that way).

To be fair, I like the design too but it should have some tweaking to not have that imagery. If we need to have an explanation, have one of the non-japanese asian mutants call him out on that on-panel.

Sunfire was due for a new costume. I love his original look but he had been wearing that since the 60s and it was time to bring him into 2021.

I miss Asrar on the X-books already. Can't wait for Marvel to announce his next book, and hopefully he'll come back to Krakoa someday.

I wish we got a better look of Sunfire's redesign.
He did need an update, but I can't tell if his new costume is good or not because he's always in the background of every image or completely involved in flames.

Right? I was thinking the same thing. On every cover released, we cannot have a proper look of his costume.

Also... Polaris' dress costume that compliments Jeans makes her old green dress more acceptable to me.
