Oh, IMX issue 9 is Charles. That leaves three issues.

Not sure that the Xavier image is for 9. I heard that Brooks was teasing working on a Kitty Pryde cover a while ago and he says he just finished the Xavier image which seems perhaps a little fast for something that's going to be solicited in the next week or so. My guess would be the Xavier cover is 10.

Yeah, surely there's material for some interesting stories if one thinks about how many tragedies those 3 have allowed to befell the X-Men over the years - and themselves too I guess given how many times Charley and Erik "died"...

I'm not really interested in retro-fitting the past X-stories over the past decades with what we know now.
As far as my head-canon goes...Charles and Moira were basically biding their time until "conditions" were right for "Age of Krakoa" to start and they thought it best to just let events play out naturally without getting directly involved as that might change the outcome and ultimate goal.

Could they have prevented a lot of shit from happening? I suppose.
Should they have prevented a lot of shit from happening? Probably. Probably not.
I get to live with the stories Claremont and others wrote without this major retcon affecting absolutely nothing in a major way other than the three characters involved...and I'm very okies with that.

Come to think on it...I would like to see/know what happened within the six months before HoX.

"Look on the bright side: The council chamber being white means it's easy to see where you have to mop up the blood stains."
I guess there's an attack? Or some fight in the quiet council chamber?

10 could be Kate, 11 Colossus and 12 Storm. I'm pretty sure 12 would be Storm if they are really going through each member of the council.

It would actually be cool if Colossus was 12, as it would set up the end of this arc and maybe finally the Russia arc afterwards.

Yeah, I highly doubt its for Uncanny Xmen. He also used the hashtag mcu too so i dont think the hashtags have anything to do with what this line art is for
