It's a good point that few ideas are 100% original. But I think most readers probably are not that aware of the past stories involving mutants "taming" Sentinels so this can still work in RED , at least for a cool visual effect. if the Sentinel sticks around after like 30 issues or something might get awkward but I would guess it'd get modified significantly by then if so

I like Omega Red stories and I like the Russian Winter Guard.
I am more interested in this than the first long Hulkverine story.

Making the first 8 issues of Weapon X all about the Hulk was possibly the dumbest idea imaginable. I tapped out around issue 6 or 7.

Also I hated how the characterizations were on Domino (dumbass floozy), Sabretooth (kinda creepy old wannabe surfer type?) and I just can't stand OML in general and think he's massively overexposed just like the OG Wolverine was and will be.

Lady Deathstrike in a team book was awesome though. And I like Domino just not how she is portrayed in Weapon X. Warpath is... just meh to me no real opinion

11 issues! Seemed the series was all about him setting up that Spin-off, then he didn't know what to do with the cast afterwards, but was stuck writing them. Lol

Sadly. I think Domino & Sabretooth were the characters he just ruined. And sure enough, those are the 2 characters he kept, while getting rid of the only 2 he didn't completely degrade -OML & Warpath.

Only good thing about this book has been the art.

Probably true. I think Van Lente might be helping with a lot of the writing because Pak just doesn't care enough about this book and he is giving his attention to Weapon H.

Van Lente has been off and on as co-writer since chapter 8 I think. Pak mentioned on twitter how they divide it up. He writes the first half of the chapters & FVL writes the remaining half.
