Now I feel kind of bummed that they're getting collective (albeit individualized) team costumes in their actual series...

Right? I hate the generic yellow outfits. I know Werneck tried making them more customized for each member, but they still look like a generic X-team to me, which is a shame when all of them have better individual costumes.
They could have done some adjustments to better tie them together so they look like a team, but going for the all yellow look was a bad choice, IMO.
BTW Dauterman is the best. I love every single thing he does.

I think its just a cover. Definitely still Captain Britain IMO

But in the first issue of Excalibur she wore this as well. She can change into both I believe.

Looks like both Rachel and Betsy make an appearance.

It’s really nice to see Betsy interacting with the rest of the line again. Also I guess when Steve said he was writing Betsy & Rachel separately that meant that they just wouldn’t immediately show up together, not that they were in different books.

The premise of the book is concerned with time travel, so I would guess that this is a past version of Betsy rather than the contemporary Captain Britain one. And based on the costume it looks like the team will be visiting the disassembled era, which sucks for them.

I really don't like Werneck's art. That cover looks rough and unfinished. Yay! Betsy!!!

I feel like he put all his energy into Betsy and they rushed him and he didnt finish the foreground.

Werneck is a very good artist with a ton of potential, but he definitely needs to work on his anatomy, composition, and dynamic movement.

I really hope we get new glimpses into Moira's lives. Wasn't there one of her lives that was still mostly shrouded in mystery?

To be fair, a lot of artists make woman look the same. Dautermann being one of the few exceptions there.

But yeah, that cover looks rough. It doesn't even look like a cover, to be honest. You can even see where he did the traces and decided to fill with black.
