It's mindless fun with great art. Plus, Pak's writing and quippy-yet-not-decompressed writing style lends itself as a major plus.

No, I don’t. Apart from Domino, none of the characters are appealing to me but that is just my taste. I’m just surprised that there readers for the book given the lack of following for the individual characters.

Tieri's Weapon X lasted 30 issues and it only had villains or murder prone antiheroes (it begun with Mesmero, Sauron, Sabretooth, Wildchild, Marrow, Maverick, Garrison Kane and very mentally ill and unlikeable Aurora)
There is a public for a book like that, it was one of my favorite books, not everybody wants to read about the xmen living as a family in the mansion.

The biggest problem of the book imo, is Domino. For me these books work better when every single character is a bastard, she will be there to make sure the others dont go too far.

I guess it's mainly to tease new outfits pn everyone. And Sabretooth's is terrible, imo lol

They should've just done the cover with the team, and had 1 shadow for the 1 new member we didn't see. Omega Red was given already.

Yeah. They just released a new interview today in which Van Lente confirmed there will be two new members.

Van Lente: Yeah, Sabretooth is the leader of Weapon X for the foreseeable future. We are in the middle of the next arc right now and having a blast creating it. A little early to spoil right now, but I can say there are TWO — count ’em, TWO — new members on the team by the time that rolls around.
