I'm pretty sure the bottom left Shatterstar bust is him without the headgear and poncho.

I probably didn't look over it well enough. The black and white only colors made me think it was another costume, but it could just be a different colored version of the same costume.

Kitty needs to get something like what Psylocke had for a little while before she became British again, and return to the Shadowcat moniker.

I liked the Shadowcat moniker. I was first introduced to her as Shadowcat in Excalibur when the team went up against the dragons of the Crimson Dawn. Then a little later she started wearing a black cat suit with a mask that I found more visually appealing than the previous costume she wore.

Kitty had a variation of the Shadowcat costume in Guardians of the Galaxy. But then Guggs came in and that outfit became a casualty of his unhealthy obsession with a 13-year old. Probably didn't help that Kitty was in a relationship with a dude not called Colossus during that time.

I'll have to check out that costume. I missed a chunk of the X-verse from the time shortly after Kitty defected to Cyclops's team until around the time shortly after Jean was resurrected.

No, it's just his previous X-Factor look. The new costume doesn't have that white line in the middle of the shirt.

I liked her training suit variant from Bendis's run. And even from Whedon. I just don't like the current one cause it has that underwear above the pants thing and those old dated boots.

Oh wow I didn't realize it was him until you pointed it out and noticed his signature on the left. He can be very hit or miss but this cover is seriously bad. It's amazing how uneven his art can be.

Someone else here can probably answer this better than I can. Post Wetworks he was in physical rehabilitation from what I understand, suffering from some severe injuries... having to relearn how to draw.
