I dunno but my first reaction for this is that Sabretooth is a double agent here and wants to help X-Men.

The problem with Kitty's design is that her hair is straight AND not in a ponytail. Which is, admittedly, Cassaday or LaRocca's fault. But she'd be more identifiable as Kitty if she looked like... well... Shadowcat.

That costume just isn't very iconic, is it?

I mean, her most iconic outfit is just one of the yellow and black uniforms.

It was for a very long time. This costume was THE Kitty Pryde's costume.

Actually, it still is for me, no matter that she's been wearing black and yellow for the last years. Because Shadowcat in Excalibur was her peak.

This is the Kitty that appears in my mind whenever Kitty is discussed.

Also, big YES to bringing back her distinctively Kitty big-N-brazen wavy locks and ditching the all too basic corporate pony.



And lets get her back in BLUE while we're at it.

I think the ponytail goes really well with the black and yellow Astonishing look.

She's sort of a hard character to make super distint, isn't she? She doesn't have, like, ONE look.

How so? She's got plain brown hair, lol. She pretty much stands alone among the prominent x-ladies in that regard. She'd be wearing Havok's freakin' costume and folks would go "Huh... I guess that's Kitty? For sheer lack of other viable options?"

Anyway. LMAO at Dani's team fighting Sabretooth.
