While it was all initially paranoia, it's definitely feeling somewhat possible. I feel as if that would definitely screw up Nate's plans as well considering he may not know how to hide a baby without killing it. At the same time, that's a poor decision for Jean considering she has only been back a year.
I'm leaning towards something more probable that Marvel is attempting to over-hype.

On one hand a Bean baby could be really interesting but on the other hand imagine if the baby disappears when the reality does.
Heartbreak all around.

JDW would never allow a baby.

He allowed one with Deadpool when he was editor for that series. Babies add more drama. It's the classic element of soap operas. lol
Like Rogue x Gambit having one before or during their marital troubles & one of them starts cheating.
Could be Jean x Bishop after the AU.
I never underestimate what JDW will allow for the sake of drama & hardship. Especially when he admits he loves messed up stuff.
Or he would allow it as a gimmick. Imagine. The Jean-Bishop kid remains in the AoXM being raised by, I dunno, Sex Cult Apocalypse and Moneta. It's irrelevant. Anyway, then he makes the trip to current main Earth all older and edgy and jaded, and then we have Black Cable 2.0. Boom. The X-Men will never be the same.
Well... it's not like she wouldn't be proving a point, but there are better ways. I suspect we'll have Hope vs Jean moments in the future. Hope teaming back with Scott will probably lead to them possibly bonding. If he's going to try and make "mends" for his past actions, Hope will probably be on that list.

Hope didn't hate Scott in the first place - she was just so much like him that they kept butting heads. I'm interested to see how they interact going forward since now Hope acts a whole lot like both the adult Cable and how Scott doesn't WANT to act anymore.
Based on his depressed act I can imagine her like, punching him in the arm and being like "Who the **** are you? You sure ain't MY Grandpa."
