X-men books in this era do relatively the same no matter who is the lineup. I expect Hickman book to trend a little higher because of the hype and it will be the first time most of the key x-men are back together in a book, but once the honeymoon period is over. This is numbers books will generally do. It is going to take the X-men consistently doing good to grow the fanbase back.

The point is that readers - or retaliers - always give a chance to the new X-men titles.
And sales decrease because they get disappointed with the run.
The honeymoon period with Hickman (or any other writer) will last while readers are satisfied with the story.

They can act like they want to forget about it all they want but they've consistently written both Jean and Scott like they still love each other and consider themselves to still be married - or would if they knew the other was alive.

Also, back during Morrison's run that was her actual name either way.

You don't have the tense of the texts… and if you retcon the last astonishing, Xavier is stuck on the astral plane… which is apparently not the case anymore.

If you want Xavier to be the full villainThere is other explanations for Xavier being alive that doesn't need Astonishing and would aloow Fantomex to still be alive
