This is really the concept I've thought would save the O5, so I'm happy it's at least a direction that's being played with. Amp up the casualty rate, start getting us scraps of characters from different realities (people would want Synch/Skin from the Gen X story, right?) and we'll have a sleeper hit on our hands.

The cover to #12 is pretty hype, I like keeping the long-standing plot elements wrapped up in the current story and the Silva art for the cross-time caper looks incredible. Don't think Gen X have looked that good since Bachalo. Silva has quickly made me a fan.

I hope it's not a permanent change in their relationship, because while there's certainly storytelling potential to exploit Laura's desire for a familial bond, I LIKE that b manage to genuinely connect and care about one another despite their differences.

But I think because of those differences it would be hard to believe they could work closely together without coming to blows at some point.

Silva is incredible, but Frank Martin shouldn't have colored his art on Gold. Hope Tamra Bonvillain is coloring this Blue arc, their Uncanny Avengers covers are great.

Magneto has barely appeared in Blue so far. Sorry you get offended every time Polaris appears on a panel without Havok standing next to her.

I wasn't offended in the least by that, so maybe stop making things up in your head...my comment was only about how young Lorna looked in that panel, I never said or meant anything about Alex in my last comment...

Wonder if Bunn will remember that Mondo is a clone, Penance is actually Monet, and "Monet" is actually just her twin sisters. And it's looking less and less likely that Skin and Synch will travel with them.

Who knows. Hopefully. Looks like a lot of stuff is directly affecting that book and it's starting to become reminiscent of the Academy X/Astonishing X days.
