Disappointed that neither Williams nor Finch have drawn Logan in his updated costume.

    Still, it’s a nice cover I suppose.

Agreed. I wasn’t a fan until PoX where he just blew me away. Honestly, I was skeptical that he and Larraz had the chops to pull off what they were describing when HoXPoX was first announced. Sometimes, being wrong is the best feeling.

Great art, but I hope the books does something newer than just basic Wolverine vs Sabretooth again. Dude is supposed to be stuck in the island dirt.

Yes! That was my favorite costume of hers UNTIL the current one. I absolutely love it.

Agreed. If Marvel is bringing back (and not just a flashback) only to do vs. Wolverine AGAIN, they need to leave him buried. The rivalry lost all edge 20 years ago and Crud adds nothing to Logan's character at this point, making him fairly unnecessary.

A fight now wouldn't be any different than their last 40. If you can even call those fights lol. I suppose when 1 party can't fight, and the other doesn't exert much effort winning.

I knew Larraz could pull it off based on his work in "Extermination." But, I wasn't sold on Silva. Even his first issue of "POX" wasn't his best. But, he was knocking them outta the park after that. I would love to meet both of these dudes at a convention. I really hope Jorge Molina and Olivier Coipel are on some upcoming X-books.

Agreed on Molina and, especially, Coipel. I’d also love to see Stephanie Hans bring Krakoa to life. Her otherworldly style would fit so well with this new direction.

That Scott Williams cover is beautiful. Any chance he could do interiors for Marvel?

Jim Lee's costume was actually black but incorrectly colored/pencilled by later artists

That's true, but I blame Jim for the mix up. When he drew the outback look it had more white than black on it, which was the total opposite than how Marc Silvestri rendered it.

So all the artist after him (including) Byrne did the same thing until eventually her costume was more silver or white than black leather(?) latex (?).
